Are you excited about fall, but tired of the same ole, same ole, when it comes to decorating in fall colors? Red, orange, gold, and green hues signify that autumn has arrived, but I dare you to take these colors to another level.
When it comes to red, go for a deeper shade like oxblood. It’s seen in beauty and fashion this season so why not try it at home? It doesn’t take much to pull of this look, just changing a few accessories often does the trick. When you add coral [a derivative of orange and pink] into the mix, expect to be pleasantly surprised at the designer look you’ve just created.
This pairing works no matter the style of your space. For a modern look, surround these colors with lots of white which provides the room with a clean, crisp atmosphere. To stay on the warmer side of modern, pair with neutrals such as oatmeal, greige, taupe, and pewter.
