Novica has wonderful products, perusing their website was a virtual trip around the world! I enjoyed reading about the artisans.
Some of the items that piqued my interest are:
(Andes) Wool shoulder bag, ‘Bluebells’- artisan Raul Ulloa Baylon says, “I love to paint and I love to weave. They are both a form of expression and often, after I explore a theme in my weaves, I will repeat them on the canvas.”
(Bali & Java) Wood notebook, ‘Lovebirds’ – artisan Ketut Kartika says, “It is such a joy to now own my own shop, although it is a lot of work and responsibility.”
(Bali & Java) Cotton batik tote bags, ‘Jawadwipa Legacy’- artisan Wahyu Sulistiani says, “My products might take longer to finish because of the hand-sewn beaded details, but I am always satisfied with the end result.”
(Mexico) Talavera ceramic under plate, Guanajuato Flora – artisan Pedro Alba says, “I learned from an early age to work hard to be able to provide for one’s family, because I had to work when I was in primary school.”
Thank you Erika for introducing your readers to Novica.

A home is an expression of self and I am so blessed to be transitioning to a new space. Upon review of Novica, I love the efforts to ensure that artists have an outlet for expression and a means by which to share their craft. I love anything that sets the mood and lends visual appeal to a theme or aesthetic. I love a great office space so my children’s rooms and my office space are first on my list of rooms to tackle. I particularly like the Pinewood Desk Organizer and Wood Card (Tortoise) Holder. The New Moon Leather Mirror is a must have also. And while the gift wouldn’t cover the cost in its entirety, I could apply it at least
. Perusing the site, just makes you reflect on the power of expressionism and how much of a necessity sites such as novica.com, are. Thanks for turning me on …
