FIND COMFORT IN VELVET

Velvet is one of those fabrics some love to hate. It was the crimson dress with the itchy lace collar you wore on Christmas of ’77 that made you vow to never wear it again. Or velvet may signify fonder memories like the trendy blazer you splurged on and still love to this day.

Whatever your affection or distaste, today’s velvet is much more wearable, durable, and comfortable in both fashion and home. Here are a few convincing examples as to why you should give velvet another chance at love:

Velvet in colorful hues, such as this bold peacock, contrasts beautifully within any space. Once rustic, this room becomes refined with the addition of this chair.

I love velvet – it looks so chic when done right! I definitely feel like it's better in interiors than on the body tho…

I adore velvet! What I love about it is that it absorbs and reflects light at the same time.
